1 Corinthian Discussion

It's really interesting to read the Q&A discussion by Robert and Peter about the work of Holy Spirit. It might also relate to what I was enlightened.

1Corithian 2:10  

 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.(KJV)

these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. (NIV)

Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny].(Amplified Bible)

This verse about one of Holy Spirit's works on us. I like the Amplified Bible translation about this verse, in which God promised to reveal his work "by and through" Holy Spirit. "By" means the work is done by Holy Spirit, rather than your own ability, your own wisdom and knowledge. "Through" means Holy Spirit is using your body to do his work and makes you understand, because "you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? (KJV 1 Corithian 3:16) "You are not your own;  you were bought at a price(KJV 1 Corinthian 6:19-20)

The Spirit of God is alive in those who knows God. On one hand, it is the living Counselor that "will teach you all things and will remind you of everything God has said to you."(NIV John14:26). So only by having the Spirit dwell in us can we be reborn.On the other hand,  Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (NIV John14:16). To speak out God's words is Holy Spirit speaking. As Paul explained clearly, "no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. "(NIV 1 Corrinthian 12:3)and " if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth"(KJV 1Corithian14:14)
 So to meditate God's words and obey and practice it. That anweres a lot of questions in the walk with God.
