Has this gone too far? Okay, how about now?

Are there any lines here in art? What about those art that tries to express religious views?

I do believe there are lines here but who makes that line and who agrees to that line? Those are questions. The line of limitation is always difficult to define if we don't agree to a common belief or standard. Lars Vilks' Muhammad drawings can be offensive if people who consider Muhammad saint and EQUAL IMPORTANTLY----consider dogs not holy symbol in their culture. I am just wondering what if the dog body in Vilks' drawings were changed into the body of...maybe dragon. What will be read out of it? For people with the background of Chinese culture, they may consider dragon a symbol of royalty and power and ...anything good that you can think of----so, Muhammad would be depicted as a powerful saint in that case. However, contrarily, dragon is possibly not pleasant at all for people in the west and it is the symbol of evil and crafty and anything bad you cant think of---so Muhammad would not be a good figure in another case.

Different cultural background and belief mold people into different thinking pattern, which exerts strong influence in the interpretation of art. It's definitely impossible to  depict something that satisfy everybody's taste and value system.
