Matthem 23:6-7 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.
The teachers that are over-proud of themselves are what I really feel sorry for. For a lot of time, knowledge will bring no benefits for people but only to make people less modest and shut their own ears to listen to others' ideas. The knowledge is always limitless. Comparing with the wisdom of God, the knowlege of everyone of us on the earth is tend to be a Zero. The arrogant and bossy scholar only filled up with earthly knowledge will definitely lose chance to be revealed the heavenly wisdom of the Almighty.
Matthew 23:12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted
